Wasn’t disappointed, booked this as it had good reviews and all I can say is they are all true. Staff are so friendly it was lovely. Room had everything that you could need. We had a room overlooking the car park. (Plenty of free parking for residents) We could hear the road, however, we had the window open as we were very warm and it wasn’t busy overnight. Breakfast was very nice, fresh and plenty of it. We didn’t eat in the evening, however if breakfast is anything to go by we will be on our next stay. All in all, we will be going back. Due to location we could walk to the hospital (which is why we chose this) also walking distance to the main town - even though it is up and down a few hills but a pleasant walk.

Our room was smaller than we expected but supplied everything we needed, including a fan. There was minor road noise but this did not disturb us and is to be expected at a hotel in such a good position. The highlights were the excellent service of all the cheerful staff and the complimentary breakfast.

We only had a one night stay in the twin room and participated in an evening meal. Whilst the room was adequate and amenities average for a hotel this size, any distraction from the room, was totally overwritten by the outstanding attention to service provided by the staff….and wonderful food. Both the evening meal & breakfast were well above average. We thanked the young manager and suggested his staff were a credit to his obvious hard work and professionalism.😌

Was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was a little in need of a fresh coat of paint, however the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a great menu. Asking for dietary options no trouble at all. The room was clean and tastefully decorated, and even in the hot weather I got an excellent nights sleep, thanks to a thoughtfully provided fan in the room. The shower had excellent water pressure and all together I had a lovely experience there and would recommend.
