The Shin Yokohama Grace Hotel is a hidden gem in my opinion. The location is fantastic (a few metres from Shin Yokohama station) and there are great shops and restaurants around the hotel. The staff could not have been friendlier and service was excellent. The rooms were huge by Japan standards and well equipped with a lovely sitting area. We booked two adjoining rooms for the family. Overall I would definitely stay here again and I thought for the price the hotel was amazing!!

The room was clean and quiet, and had everything I needed. I highly recommend the breakfast for anyone who likes the Japanese style breakfast.

Clean and size of the room is good enough for two people (dont expect a spacious one in this pretty convenient and busy location). Amenities are available at front desk. Though parking is quite expensive.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Although my check-in was a bit late, the receptionist took the time to explain the bus transportation options clearly. The next day, after I checked out, I was worried I might miss my bus since I did not know the way, but the same receptionist kindly explained the way to the bus stop quickly and suggested that I could return to the hotel if miss the bus, which I really appreciated. I also left a personal item in the hotel room, and the hotel was very helpful in arranging for its shipment at my expense. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my stay!

Grace in Shin-Yokohama

If you plan on taking the Bullet Train somewhere in Japan the Grace Hotel's proximity to Shin-Yokohama station makes it a great choice. Reasonably priced and far from overly crowded Tokyo give it a shot!

Truly excellent hotel, right next to Shin-Yokohama Station. A tip for getting there: take the Shinkansen exit and walk straight across the plaza to the smaller side street, rather than walking towards the McDonalds. Hotel itself is wonderful and is probably the nicest smelling hotel I've ever stayed in. The Japanese-style room is pretty cool, as is the breakfast in the restaurant "Gin".
