A major highlight was the natural hot spring spa (onsen), which was a fantastic addition to unwind after a long day of walking. The entire hotel was exceptionally nice and clean throughout. Just keep in mind that the local shops and other eateries require a minimum 10-15 minute walk from the property."

"The room and reception were wonderful, and the staff provided excellent, hospitable service. However, the shuttle bus service from Yugawara Station was very disappointing. I waited for 15 minutes at the instructed location, but the bus never stopped. It drove through the rotary so quickly that I didn't even see it coming and had no chance to board. A tip for future guests: To avoid this issue, I highly recommend calling the hotel on your travel day to reconfirm the exact shuttle pickup time...

"Foreigner friendly. The reception staff are lovely and very helpful. There are some local restaurants/coffee shops etc. close by (walking distance). It is close to the airport. Great place to stay. If you have children that are not co-sleeping there are no rollaway beds nor pull out couches. You will need to ask for adjoining rooms to accommodate families with kids that can't be in their own rooms. We managed to make it work on our side of things. Breakfast at the hotel was good and had both western & eastern dishes available, coffee was yummy."
