Clean, tidy property close to town.

Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast.

Location, location!

A very handy location with easy on-street parking right in front of the house. Well-equipped kitchen with complimentary, quality coffee and tea. Clean, up-to-date bathroom and towels with quality complimentary shampoo and shower gels. Comfortable master bedroom (as in photo) with good quality mattress, though the other two bedrooms had much lower beds which had less comfortable mattresses. Overall, accommodation was fine for a family of four, though there was no wardrobe hanging space available and there was no dining room table - not a deal-breaker, as there were lower glass lounge tables and our laps! In sum, a functional, well-located lodge.

Loved our stay. The house was lovely with plenty of space for a family. Location was great, a short walk from the centre. Shops around the corner so had everything we needed. Great communication with the host. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a stay in York.

Enjoyable Stay.

It was a half hour walk into York. Not as close as we would like, but good for the money. Plenty of shops close by and free on street parking. Only concern was returning late in the evening, we felt a bit wary of some of the youths hanging round. Would recommend getting back before pubs let out. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
