"booked the 1 bdrm apartment, not what i expected, i dont know why they showed a picture of it looking out over the river, i think thats misleading to say the least.
besides that, we did get an unrequired 2bdrm, 1 for us and other was for our suit cases???

No air conditioning in the rooms made them unbearable. There was a fan (seemingly from the 70's) but only 2 plug sockets in the room, neither if which near the bed, so the fan had no affect whatsoever.
Staff we friendly and helpful but food and drinks weren't great quality and were massively overpriced"
"Our executive double room was extremely clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and professional. Our evening meal was delicious and good value. We particularly liked the gardens and ate on the terrace.
The bathroom was a little "tired" but was spotlessly clean. Amazing value at £64 for the room per night. Thank you for a very pleasant stay"
"Clean and conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walking distance to the Shambles and York Minster. They offered fresh lemon and mint water upon entrance at the bar and the staff were all wonderful! And, it was nice to have the a/c even though the outside temperature wasn’t even much hotter than 75, even in mid-July. The beds, bedding and towels were as usual, wonderful."
