"Everything about our stay was wonderful, with one disappointing exception on our last day when we requested transportation to the airport. Estrella from the reservations office was rude and dismissive when she informed us that the shuttle transportation had to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. I explained that I wasn’t aware of this requirement and didn’t recall being informed. She then pulled up a document I had signed and stated, in a condescending tone, that I had been informed and simply hadn’t read it. It’s possible I overlooked that information, as on the date of our arrival, we flew all night (a six-hour flight) from California and were extremely tired. However, I would have appreciated a little understanding and courtesy rather than being made to feel at fault. The rest of the staff, were very helpful & friendly."

"We had an enjoyable, kid-free anniversary trip. The room was clean and perfect for our stay. Swim -up bar was a favorite spot to be, great views of the beach while relaxing in the pool. Pepe’s by the pools was a great place for lunch or a snack while hanging out in the pool. Overall not really impressed by the food choices. The restaurants that we visited had decent options but taste of everything was just kinda of bland, nothing was “AMAZING”. As an English speaking American, there was a few times it was difficult to communicate with the staff (waiter in one of the restaurants and the gift shop attendants were a couple we had trouble with). I understand we were in another country that does not speak out language routinely, but given it is a major resort/vacation area just hoped for less communication struggles. We were celebrating our anniversary and the resort left us a special gift in the room which was nice."

"Excellent property! Tons to do. I found the hotel to be in need of maintenance! The pools were not very clean. Also, we had a bad experience on our last night with a weird chemical odor in our room. The hotel was quick to change our room which was appreciated but that raised a red flag for us on the maintenance of the property and the safety of the systems."
