“We had a lovely week’s stay at Le Decime. Our hosts Fabio and Georgia were wonderful and are doing a great job renovating the historic property. They were really welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, sorting out any minor issues we had and also providing lots of advice and recommendations for local activities. The room was very clean and comfortable and the new outdoor pool is great with a spectacular view of Mount Etna. Would highly recommend a visit!”

“This place is terrible. The bed is terrible, the location is rough, the staff is terrible. Over all the experience was terrible. We were promised breakfast, and there was a half working coffee machine and a couple wrapped muffins that were not restocked. The room had bugs, and they did not go away. The bathtub was disgusting and took forever to fill up. Also a moth flew out of a jet when we turned it on. The bed was terrible to sleep on and folded like a taco. My wife and I didn’t sleep well...

“We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!”
