Overall, the property was clean. and visually maintained. Unfortunately, our room, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and we had to ask for another room after no one came to fix it, and once we settled into our new room, they had us move once again, telling us it was an upgrade even after we had unpacked everything and we were settled in. Not all the restaurants were open at the same time, which was not expected. which was unfortunate because we wanted to have more variety while we were there. They did open up on the second part of our stay, but it was just a letdown that it was not available right from beginning. Also, our hot water was turned off without warning for three days during the day, which was a bit of an annoyance. Was not the worst stay I’ve ever had, but definitely not the best stay. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. which we really enjoyed. The food overall was not spectacular, but it was good and we did enjoy our meals.

Good place

The food was great, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. However, I wish there had been more nighttime entertainment, such as live shows. It would also be nice to have a DJ playing during the day at one of the pools. I understand the resort is designed to offer a peaceful atmosphere, but having the option of a pool with music would add to the experience. We also experienced issues with our toilet, which ultimately required us to switch rooms. Lastly, it was disappointing that you had to pay extra for butler service to get dinner reservations without long waits. Otherwise, you could end up waiting up to an hour for a table. Overall, the resort has a lot of positives, but a few improvements could make the experience even better. Ps eat the habanero soup at MB!
