The hotel is well maintained and the staff are friendly, helpful.. location is very good,plus all the restaurants, stores and other attractions

Spent two weeks in Japan and stayed at 4 hotels. This hotel was the best of the 4 I stayed in. Clean and nice. Feels like you’re in a new apartment. The location was perfect as well. Close to so many great places in Kyoto. If I had to do it again I would have stayed here longer.

Well located hotel and great breakfast If you a e very sensitive to sound be aware that sound of train that passes right next to hotel can be heard in the rooms. We got used to the sound as it is not that loud.

Lovely location, good Veg food and excellent service

Loved the view from my room, lovely bathroom and a luxury hotel. However elements of the room were worn, like the desk, room trimming etc. also there was quite a bit of fussing around things like the direction you stand in when your in a queue for the desk etc. rather then focusing on getting another staff member on the desk. I had more than a few instance like this, and it just felt unnecessary which was a shame. The rooms were always cleaned really well, location of the hotel was good also. It did take me a few days to get the hang of all the different stations etc. I will say that whilst I felt some of what the staff focused on was overly fussy, all of the staff I spoke to were great and very helpful. Again, great view from the room.
