Ford Island Cheap Vacations

Our stay was extremely frustrating, especially traveling with two young children. During our stay, the hotel lost electricity, and we ended up waiting over an hour just to get an elevator. Trying to manage luggage and two kids in that situation was incredibly difficult and stressful. When we finally got access to the luggage bins and started putting our luggage in them, the workers told us that we should have never done that. If guests aren’t supposed to use the bins or handle their luggage that way during an outage, there should have been clear communication and staff assistance available—especially when families are already struggling to navigate the hotel without power. I understand that power outages can happen and may be outside of the hotel’s control, but the way the situation was handled and the lack of communication from staff made an already difficult situation much worse. Traveling with children is stressful enough without being left waiting for over an hour and then being reprimanded for trying to manage our own luggage. I expected much better communication, assistance, and customer service from a hotel in Hawaii.

Nice hotel , clean room and a nice view

beautiful hotel and all of the employees are very friendly. pool is very small and parents tend not to watch their kids so it won’t be very relaxing. beach access is wonderful and plenty of shopping + restaurants within a half mile. service at mai tai bar can be very slow, but they tend to be quite busy.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for approximately I believe it was four or five days amenities unreal staff friendly courteous helpful overall pleasant day we will definitely be coming back in the future anytime we go to Honolulu we plan on staying at this but at this location I mean fantastic room anytime we left room service came in or excuse me they came in and cleaned the room up it happened to be my girlfriend's birthday we got a complimentary bottle of champagne with some complimentary cookies we didn't even ask for them they basically just as well was a reason for our stay and with that information they ran with it made the overall experience amazing

We arrived early and got checked in right away. But the room was very hot and we left all day and came back and it was still hot and then we had bugs in our luggage and around the room. Called front desk and the a/c was not working and leaking! So they moved us to a new room. The air was a lot better.

The place is good enough to stay if you’re only going to stay in Waikiki. Its close to everything you want to do. The bummer thing that I didn’t like is that the place is not service everyday for cleaning and also the front desk didn’t quite gave me a smooth check in.
