Sand Island Kid friendly Vacations

Bethany was amazing!! and the morning mobility changed my life <333 They deserve raises because they are doing Gods work just by being them. All of the staff was fantastic.

We honeymooned at the Beachcomber in 1999. We are sentimental so we always stay at the Beachcomber and visited them four of the past five years. Three things stood out this time around. First, when I booked our nine night stay on Expedia, I was not given the option to request the ocean view deluxe room which we usually book, therefore we were given a room on a much lower floor than we’ve ever been on before. The view was not the same and it was a disappointment. Secondly, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We had a hard time getting to sleep and would wake up sore. Third, the Beachcomber was much busier this time around. I like that people are enjoying the property as we usually do, but it was harder to find space at the pool, Aroma was swamped, and most days the elevators were packed. Ahuana was an amazing show and having it hosted by the property was very convenient.

Only issue is that there aren’t enough lounge chairs around the pool.

Staffs were the best out of all.

Unfortunately, The resort lobby & aquarium were the best areas of the resort. The floor we were on had definitely been neglected and not remodeled. Our floor had an odor. Our room was older bathroom was outdated. Additional fees are added as soon as you check in not as stated when booked ALL FEES INCLUDED. Advertising was miss leading in every way. Disappointed with everything at the resort. I questioned the extra fees and the disappointment in our accommodation. This vacation was a college graduation gift. We wouldn’t stay again.

Staffs were the best out of all.

Clean, friendly people, good location, away from waikiki busy areas but close enough to go to beach.
