Great time, A few problems at the beginning but Wendy and Leo handled it perfectly. Leo was a complete gentleman and handled everything I asked for! Fantastic guy and when I come back I only want Leonardo as my butler!! 5 stars way to go Mirage!

We enjoyed the beach, riding around in our golf cart and the service was next to none. Safe place to stay.

The staff alone (entertainment) they will definitely see me again. There are so many food options you can’t even decide what to get because everything looks AND tastes amazing the Japanese restaurant was BY FAR our favorite! We ordered room service at all hours and they always delivered. The pools were so much fun! There’s a quiet pool where to read/tan and things like that if that’s more your vibe. The main pool was where the party was at! We did water aerobics (so much harder than you think), played hot potato with a twist it was so fun. Alexis was amazing we met him, Maria and Rococada on day one and let me tell you they did not disappoint. Truly a Burst or energy they excelled at their job Rococada was always dancing and just killing it out there. Alexis and Bubalu were hilarious always had us laughing and you could see how hard they work but still made it so fun. We played bingo with bubalu and Franchesca and even though we didn’t get to win a prize it was such a great time truly. Franchesca was so sweet and she also did the Zumba on the beach we got a killer work out there. There are some more people I might be forgetting to mention but on the staff alone the service was excellent. The room we were in was not the cleanest so they definitely lost points with me there the sheets had some hairs before we even laid down but someone came in and changed the sheets. Hot tub was so dirty and room service never cleaned it we never got to use it that sucked. Everything else 10/10

The design was beautiful

Room was just okay, you can tell they made repairs. However not great repairs. show area was dirty, left over hair. The cleaning staff and personal butler was great, Our butler, Johnny was Steller (5 stars) he checked in each morning, responded when I had questions, booked our reservations. He was literally Johnny on the spot. The food was not good at all, no flavor. All of the food including the room service was not good. We looked forward to Taco Bell at the airport and thats saying a lot. Didnt like how everything closed early other than one bar and the nightly rave parties was very loud at 2 am. People were friendly, drinks has basically no alcohol in them. We've stayed in other Royalton's and this one by far was the worst. Would choose brand new next time if we stay at a Royalton.

We have been going Sanctuary Cap Cana for the past 10 years. The best thing about the place is the people that work there. They treat you like family. They also remember what you like and make you feel special. The property has always been beautiful and the food is good for an all inclusive resort. The resort has changed over the years, mostly for the better. We always feel relaxed and taken care of. Marriott is the current brand and with that hopefully they can focus on changing the food options as they have become repetitive through the years. They have done a great job with the Wok and Italian restaurant but in my opinion the steak house needs a new menu. They have taken away filets and racks of lamb as an example. The drinks are good, minus almost zero bourbon options. They should consider opening the sanctuary town during the day for lunch once a week to mix up the lunch options. The food there is good (pizza, tacos, sushi) but how can you truly enjoy it when you have dinner plans. They have been working on the beach issue and I'm sure it will be taken care of soon. Overall we love visiting Sanctuary and we will return in the future.
