We love the Japanese food nearby.... We actually became locals and would go everyday for lunch or dinner. The hotel itself is unforgettable expierence from reasonably priced massages to great atmosphere, the staff is also amazing at speaking English I can not wait Togo back

Angela was helpful from the beginning. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of everything and had everything we needed. It is the old quarter so there is some age to the building, but the rooms are remodeled with new bathrooms, furniture, and all other basic amenities. Highly recommend this was perfect

Staff not friendly. Locked key in room and girl at front desk didn’t want to give me another key. I swear she rolled her eyes at me. Charged me 50% more for an airport car than other nearby hotels. Place isn’t bad, but better, cheaper, friendlier options all over Old Quarter in Hanoi. Wouldn’t stay again.

It’s not a fancy hotel, and there are certainly ones that have better lobbies (etc) in Hanoi but if you want a basic clean room then the hotel is good. The lower floors are noisy at the front of the hotel (premium rooms). The upper floors less so. The staff are all lovely.

HOTEL du LAC SIGNATURE is without doubt one of the finest hotels I have experienced in Asia, and the fact that it has only just opened makes it even more impressive. Everything feels brand new—polished interiors, spotless rooms, and a design that combines modern luxury with subtle charm. Beyond the facilities, it was the hospitality that left the strongest impression. On my birthday, the front desk team surprised me with a cake and gathered together to sing. It was such a thoughtful gesture that brought genuine emotion and made my stay unforgettable. These personal touches are what elevate a hotel from simply “good” to truly extraordinary. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of variety and beautifully presented dishes. Every staff member I encountered was professional, kind, and always smiling. The location is unbeatable—right in the Old Quarter, close to the famous Train Street, yet perfectly quiet once you’re inside. This hotel proves that luxury is not only about the building or the décor, but also about the way people make you feel. Here, I felt cared for, celebrated, and at home.

I would like to recognize the staff at the Aurora Hotel, specifically Ms. Mia, Mr. Tee, and Mr. Andy, who were exceptional. The 3 of them went above and beyond. to make my stay enjoyable. Ms Mia was so pleasant and a joy to talk with, Mr Tee gave me some great ideas in my travel plans as an adventurer, and Mr Andy was really interested in how my day went. The rooms were to my liking, and I asked to be placed on a lower floor, which they were able to accommodate. Any restaurant, massage, excursion, etc, was within walking distance or an Uber/bus ride away. Some friends and I are already making plans to come back, and we will be staying again at this hotel.
