Great service from check in to checkout. Very short walk to the beach, shopping area, restaurants. Easy access to transportation stations. Highly recommended. Surely book again this hotel for another visit.

Never come back. The worst experience ever

Travelled to Seoul first-time, with my family of 4 with 2 kids 10 and under. I debated between the Insadong and Myeongdong location of this hotel and I'm glad I selected Insadong. Still very central location, sandwiched between the Jogyesa Temple and Insadong Culture Street. It's also walking distance to Bukchon Hanok Village, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and several metro and bus stations. Closest metro station is Anguk, followed by Jonggak. Airport Limousine Bus station 6011 is also nearby. The hotel is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, and shops within walking distance. It's very well maintained, staff is very helpful and there's a mall downstairs called Anyeong Insadong with a newly opened Olive Young. Unlike Myeongdong, it's peaceful at night, feels safe, and genuinely Korean. You can faintly hear the monks in the morning which is quite surreal. Would definitely stay here again if I have the good fortune of returning to Seoul.

Very close to the airport bus station and good walking distance to Gangnam subway station. Their breakfast was FANTASTIC!

I was disappointed with this hotel and don't feel it lives up to its advertised 5-star rating. When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly. A member of staff came to try and fix it, which improved it only slightly. To the hotel's credit, they did provide us with a fan, but this isn't what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The room itself showed signs of poor maintenance. The towels were very thin, frayed around the edges, and had started to grey with age. The bathroom sink tap was loose, and there was missing grout in the shower, giving the room a tired and neglected feel. The swimming pool reservation system is also extremely frustrating. Having to book a time slot makes it difficult to plan your day, especially when reservations fill up. I also don't understand why the rooftop pool area is restricted to guests aged 19 and over, which limits access for families. The rooftop terrace itself has great potential and offers lovely views, but when we visited it was completely empty and lacked any atmosphere. It felt like a missed opportunity for what could have been one of the hotel's best features. Overall, while the staff were polite and did try to help when issues were raised, the overall standard of the facilities and maintenance falls well short of what I would expect from a genuine 5-star hotel.
