Overall Baha mar is a beautiful place with beautiful pools, beach, hotel rooms. Plenty to do for kids as well as adults. What is terrible is the service. It is almost impossible to get any type of service wether it’s housekeeping, bar, dinner, or pool service. It is evident why: There is an automatic 15 percent service charge on every bill. For this reason no one at the hotel actually cares to be efficient or provide good service. People don’t smile. I sort of get it. If I was already getting my tip and the most I was going to get on top is an extra 5-10 percent, I wouldn’t have an incentive to service. You will hear the employees talking about guests etc. Overall however people will still come because the pools, waterpark, and beach are excellent. If you can get by without good service still a good place to come to.

The hotel was enormous, it has tons of amenities and lots to do. Only drawback was that things were very far apart so lots of walking. Our room was large and beautiful, we stayed in the 2bedroom regal suite, perfect for families. However, the food was disappointing, especially for being so expensive. Seafire Steakhouse was our favorite restaurant on the resort and worth the money, otherwise Shake Shack was most reliable and tasty.
