Very friendly staff and the area was very clean

Overall customer service was unsatisfactory. Staff wasn’t very helpful only a handful were nice and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would look into other places that have better service and value for the price we paid.

The elevator doesn’t work and my husband was trapped in it as soon as we arrived. The gym was unusable as it was under water. There is nothing close by in terms of groceries, the Walmart is closest but would be a 25 minute walk and do not recommend it. The appliances worked but all the cupboards smelled strong like vinegar. The safe didn’t work and the door code didn’t work and when we locked the door it still banged around because it didn’t fit properly. The pool was nothing special at all. The place was large, nice bedding, tons of towels, but overall not worth it. We were happy to check out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The facility overall was very unsanitary. The smell of sewage was overbearing in many areas of the resort. The restrooms outside of the rooms didn't have any water to flush the toilets or urinals which made the smell of rotting urine and sewage extremely hard to breathe. The pool water was excessively dirty in the adult area. The collection of used plastic cups and the recycling / reuse of them by soaking then in a sink filled with standing water is nothing short of unsanitary and it's unacceptable. It's no wonder people get sick so often - germs and bacteria are of no concern at this resort. It's actually disgusting how drinks are handled to their customers. I would not recommend this facility. The high pressure to complete and provide positive feedback on a survey after checking out is totally unprofessional and it only ends up misleading others to think that the Krystal Resort is a worthy destination when it's not.
