Miyajima Golf Vacations

Great hotel. Rooms were your basic small hotel room, but hotel was in a good location and seemed high class. Best part of the hotel was the Sento/Onsen on the top floor. That was an extra plus. But be aware tattoos are not welcome there, but you can get 2 free tattoo stickers per room to cover your tat so you can use the bath Sento anytime you want. Otherwise tattooed folks can only use it between 11pm - 2am, which is past my bedtime.

The room was not very clean (dust in bathroom and on carpet) Location is excellent though. Could use some renovation within the rooms

This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station depending on the room you're staying in given you contact them at least three days in advance. Although our Shinkansen was unexpectedly delayed by two hours due to rain/lightning, they patiently waited for our arrival and did not leave us stranded. Perhaps the only downside was that we only stayed two nights as I felt we could've done with some more downtime and taking advantage of the amenities including the bikes and SUPs. I hope to return again soon, staying for a longer time next time. Thank you Marissa Resort for giving us an incredible and memorable vacation!

Great property very close to central train station. In room laundry was very useful. Best part of the room is the modern washroom with a full bath and shower area.

The location is perfect though the air conditioner is leaking. Overall the place is good forvalue

Amazing hotel. Categorized as 3-star but lives up to 5-star reputation. Brand new. Elegant Japanese design. Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Excellent service. Just across from the ferry port that takes you to Miyajima island. Might be a bit far from central Hiroshima, but its advantages outweigh this single disadvantage. Very much recommend!
