Fantastic location. Very comfortable beds, clean and friendly staff.

1. The lighting in the bathroom and bedroom was very bad....wrong lighting placement and hag lighting. 2. Wrong placement of toilet paper. It should be placed on the left, slightly under the counter and NOT way back on the far right where one has to bend over backwards and sustain a back sprain just to get to the toilet paper. 3. No towel hook in the shower area. There are companies that sell very strong hooks that adhere to glass. Have had one in my glass shower stall at home and it has never dropped. 4. No edge for shaving legs. 5. Horrible stench of the sewer the moment you enter hotel... probably from the construction next door. 6. Extremely noisy from the construction next door. You can't sleep later than 7 am because of the noise outside.

I booked this hotel as when I was searching for one by the airport this was one of the closest at 3 miles. Hmm, it might have been as the crow flies, but to get there was a 20+ min cab ride depending on time of day via Grab and cost SG$25-50. Prebook for early hours to airport due to remote-ness. Hotel felt a little tired, but was fine for our 2 nights. We had 2 rooms and they were spacious, even if the decor felt a bit dated. Was very confused that there was a window between the bathroom and bedroom - but at least there was a blind! Shower was within the bath and it was one of the best I've ever stood under! Reception were friendly and food looked nice in both restaurants although we didn't eat there apart from the iced gems they had out! The rooftop infinity pool on floor 8 was great and heated and brilliant to watch the planes coming in to land. There was a bar up there too and think you could eat there too. Didn't use the pool on the ground floor but didn't look as big as the rooftop one. Within walking distance was a hawker centre, lots of restaurants and a cool brewery bar and restaurant. You could walk to the beach and pick up the coastal path. Saw otters swimming but didn't go in due to the jellyfish warnings! To get to the city you could take the bus to the MRT and head in from there. Probably took about an hour. If I did it again I would have stayed nearer the MRT stations to be able to get to the city and airport easily, quickly and cheaply.

Nice sized room with a comfy bed. Great air-conditioned room and the shower was really good . Having a big window with shutters and curtain was nice too.

It is an average hotel, mainly for conferences (as it had 5+ conference rooms). The location was near the Straits of Johore, and thats why we choose it. Unfortunately there is nothing around the hotel except army facilities and buildings - no local shops. Due to road works the road trip took over 30 minutes to get the hotel. One of the best features of the hotel was the free bus trip to the MRT station, for a quick and very cheap trip back to the airport.
