South O'ahu Pet-friendly Vacations

Lovely Hotel in a great location, the staff were always smiling and ready to help. Sky Bar was always somewhere nice to sit outside, situated on the 8th Floor. The restaurant (Sera) offered tasty food, well presented with friendly waitress and bar staff.

This property is across the street from the beach. Restaurants and shopping next door. Hotel is very clean! Lots of views of the ocean.

I had an okay stay overall. The location was AMAZING, which was definitely the highlight. However, when booking this hotel, I assumed we’d be able to swim in the ocean directly next to the property. Unfortunately, the water was extremely shallow with rocks everywhere, and we only lasted about 20 minutes before walking nearly half a mile down the beach just to find a swimmable area. Another issue was the room temperature. I normally keep my room around 69–70 degrees, but our room wouldn’t go below 73. I called the front desk and maintenance came up, but they said everything was working properly and there was nothing they could do to make it cooler. Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible, but there were definitely a few disappointing aspects that affected our comfort and expectations.

Overall good experience but it would be nice to have some kind Of bar on property

Everything was great except our room was not cleaned, one day I had to call and asked for it to get cleaned, but after I just gave up

The Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach staff and service was top notch. It’s a stone throw from the beach and also provides free beach chairs and umbrella rentals via a third party a few blocks away from the hotel. The only thing the room could use is a microwave. Also be aware that parking at the hotel garage is on the expensive side at $50/day. A 10-day stay cost $500 in parking alone.

The Kahala will never disappoint. It is clean, beautiful, calm, quiet. I will always recommend it
