The location is excellent ,very convenient. They are very kind & we can have compliment water, coffee, some bread, cookie.

Villa Maia is beautiful. Our room was excellent, very clean, spacious, with a terrace and beautiful views of the garden. We traveled with two dogs, who were both given bowls, water, and treats. The hotel has a pet sitter! This was a first for us and he was very reasonably price. Very nice and friendly and our dogs fell in love with him (Hi Calixte!). The staff is very courteous, warm, hospitable, and had excellent recommendations for dinners. Villa Maia has a spa that is spacious and luxurious with a large pool, hot tub, spa, sauna, and services. Very nice, professional. Overall, we felt cared for and welcomed. The personal amenities were the only shortcoming - I would have liked more cotton makeup remover pads - but the single use hotel slippers (rubber!) that we were encouraged to take home, the robes, towels, etc were all so nice, who cares about makeup remover pads!? We will be back.
