Wonderful staff Great breakfast Loved location and walk ability

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Great location for easily catching a lift or meeting a tour. The surrounding area has a ton of walkable restaurants and coffee shops. It was also quiet. Couldnt hear any of our neighbors.

If you are visiting your child at Cal, staying at the Claremont is a no-brainer if you are looking for a bit (or a lot) more than a typical hotel stay.

Easy check in, good location.

The court yard with the fire pits, s’mores kits and a multitude of games ranging from ping pong, shuffle board, corn hole and on and on. Wonderful seating and lounging areas both inside and outside. The staff was courteous and helpful. T.C. was exceptionally helpful and informed me of an extra perk that I wasn’t aware of…that although check out is 11am you can park there until 3pm without any additional charge. This was wonderful. We could have lunch on the waterfront before we left for the day. I would highly recommend staying at the Zephyr.

They didn’t have black out curtains so you have to sleep with lights shinning through all night in your room

This charming 1915-era hotel provides thoughtfully appointed rooms and exceptional service. Anything I asked for, from sewing supplies to laser copies, was quickly provided. Since I was traveling solo I opted for the Business room, which comes with free wifi, plenty of outlets, a refrigerator and coffeemaker, and the most comfortable bed ever! The hotel is connected to the restaurant Zino, with food to die for.
