Clean room. Great location.

Right on the beach. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Starbucks in the lobby opens at 5 am. ABC grocery store on ground floor has all the stuff you'll need. Every employee was helpful, attentive and friendly. Room was clean and the sheets and towels very nice. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner were great. In my first room on 5th floor, overlooking the pool, the music was much too loud. I requested a room further away from the live music and since they didn't have one on that floor they gave me a 17th floor room for a discount. The view was wonderful there but the music was still too loud to sleep. Ask for a room on the side opposite the music. The MonkeyPod restaurant onsite is good. Could improve: Provide a dresser and a microwave. The magnifying mirrors in both rooms were coming loose from the wall; obviously not attached to a stud. The light in the shower room flashed after it was on for a while. Bed was quite soft and slightly sagged away from the middle. Water/ice dispenser was quite rusty. Even though I list things that need improvement, I would stay here again.

Overall, a very solid stay. Nothing fancy or over the top, but nice. The room was nice and clean with cute decor. The pool area was nice with several seats but can fill up fast. The location is a bit of a bummer as it's a bit of a walk to the beach and shops and restaurants but manageable. Yet my main criticism during my stay was the staff. Regardless of who you talked to, whether it was checking in or out at the front lobby, the towel attendant at the pool, or the bartender at the pool bar (Lost N Found), everyone was just frankly unfriendly. No matter the interaction, it was like they were bothered to have to interact with you. I just expected a more warm bubbly environment but absolutely did not get that here. For our next stay, I will look else but it was a solid stay for this week.

Every was very good with the exception the access to the lobby was very hard for elderly person to go up the escalator that high

10 out of 10 would stay at this hotel again a two minute walk distance to the beach the staff there was incredible

This hotel is amazing. Very pricey but the property and service is impeccable. Orchids and La Mer are fantastic restaurants. Coconut Cake is a must. You have got to eat at Orchids for breakfast seaside at Waikiki. Bar service and drinks are unique and delicious. Every staff member down to the lawn guys were friendly, made eye contact, and said hello. Concierge is excellent. If you like high tea in the afternoon I highly recommend
