"This was my third stay here. The hotel has two of the nicest outdoor onsen to be found anywhere. also, good food and lots of amenities. Location is beautiful."

"Great hotel! We booked the hotel Hoping to get a view of Mount Fuji, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see it since it was cloudy and rainy. However, the onsen on the rooftop made it worth it. It was beautiful and clean. The room was small, but typical for Japan. There were also many walkable restaurants outside of the hotel and the subway was a 1 min walk away. Would stay here again! "

"The gentleman who spoke excellent English helped us when we drove up to the front is a very excellent representative and face for the hotel and demonstrates hospitality well. The overall hotel has the feeling of omotenashi which is rarer and rarer now as more foreign workers and more foreigners with a disregard for Japanese unspoken habits are hired in these hotels. I hope to come back just to relax and hope to see this hotel maintain its excellence. "

"The staff, grounds, and food were all superb. We booked the Open Air Big Stone Bath room type so we had a private hot springs bath in our onsen. It was amazing to get in whenever we wanted, but it may be unnecessary depending on your budget since their public (hotel guests only) open air baths are so spectacular. Also, if you don’t book a room with a private bath, you can reserve a time slot for a private one on the hotel grounds. The time slots will give you access to a private bath, steam spa...

"The architecture and design of the property was very simple and clean and adapted well to its natural surroundings. The room with its bath in the balcony and the attention to details was amazing. The food at the restaurant was a bit bland and could be better. The service was great but the staff need a bit more experience in telling its story of the food and dishes. "We arrived to Hyatt regency hakone and were immediately escorted in and were told they were waiting for us. From that moment on, it was nothing but first class treatment from the entire staff. It was an incredible experience and the staff experience alone should make people run here in droves!! It sadly rained (4.5 inches in one day alone) while we were there but the staff was always helpful with information, alternative advice, and wonderful smiles. Would definitely recommend as they went above...

"The room was beautiful and the private onsen was the cherry on the cake. Be sure to take advantage of the massage that is offered (additional $) but it had me snoring and in a very relaxed state of mind. The Kaiseki dinner was flawless too. This was a perfect break in the middle of our trip to rest our weary limbs. "

Despite the many positive reviews that was 10/10 few mentioned about the street noise that’s unfortunately very disturbing at night or when using the onsen. The 10th floor onsen is much better and めちゃ広いい。。。。 skip the indoor onsen and use the 10th floor and one will feel relax. "

"Everything on Fufu Hakone was excellent except the spa and massage. I booked the recommended spa & massage package of 120 minutes costing 20,000 Yen, but was only given the service of 75 minutes including changing time, bathing and sand spa which lasted 25 minutes, the massage was only 50 minutes. I felt I was being short changed after the session and raised question to the massage lady without any acceptable answer. "
