“Peace lodge was very beautiful . It has so much to offer with feeding the animals they rescued to enjoying the beautiful waterfalls right on the property. The only downfall of mine was they don't have air or a ceiling fan but overall it was a great joy staying here . ”

“Good a/c, spacious apartment and many kinds of birds around. However, the maintenance of the facility can be improved and it would be nice if the manager could go over the essential when guests arrive rather than having guests to discover issues( broken curtain rod, moldy coffee maker and missing keys for patio glass doors etc) related to their stay. Sadly, the house is only two year old but deteriorates beyond its age. ”

“Es un lugar totalmente rústico. Para llegar, es necesario tomar una lancha. Sin embargo, está muy confortable, limpio y protegido. La comida que ofrecen es muy buena, el entorno es el lago, vegetación, y aves hermosas. Y lo mejor de todo, el trato del personal es excelente (Edgar, el barman, excepcional atención). Para ir al pueblo, también se toma taxi acuático. Toda una hermosa experiencia para relajarse en medio de la naturaleza”

Family owned and run, one of the oldest hotels in Tortugero, the Casa Marbella staff provides friendly, expert, and excellent customer service (boat taxi pick up at the airport, guided tours by boat and in the preserve, etc.) The hotel is small, right on the river, and quiet. We loved staying here and definitely would go back.”

The park staff and workers are all very friendlly and helpful. Had a very good time staying there for more than 2 week. The room service was not average . Had to remind them to clean the room thrice. ”
