It was meaningful for me to stay in an old, historic wood building since I didn't have time to look around the wood buildings in Bryggen area. Plus, it got an elevator which was a must to me. Staff were kind and friendly.”

“Very cozy old hotel with lots of charm and atmosphere. It might be a bit worn, but that is part of the charm and to be prioritzed instead of new ordinary hotels. Free parkering and wonderful view over the mountains and skiing area. We had dinner in the sports bar - nothing fancy, but dining can be done in the restaurant also. Very nice staff and very nice breakfast. We will come back if we need to stay in Geilo again.”
