Opted for this property to save some money, but it turned out to be a mistake. Upon check-in, the receptionist at the desk was surprisingly rude without any apparent reason. Despite not smoking, we were sternly informed about a no-smoking policy. (As we came in 2 women were smoking right next to front entrance)
Our simple request for a ground floor room was denied due to booking through a third party app, claimed it’s against their policy. There are no elevators, and the hallways were also unkempt. The initial night felt reminiscent of my college dorm days with loud music, eventually ceasing after a complaint.
The rest of the stay was thankfully uneventful. However, there was no breakfast despite being advertised, and amenities like laundry, ice, and vending machines faced issues. Attempts to request extra towels and toilet paper were unsuccessful due to the absence of staff at the desk, leaving another guest waiting for check-in over 20 minutes.
My advice: Spend the extra money and opt for a different place. The only positive aspect was the bed – clean and surprisingly comfortable.
