“My stay at French Leave was amazing, despite the hiccups encountered on property. There were outages that affected several villas and I was moved to another villa, after encountering some problems. There were issues with wifi and cable issues that stemmes from the service providers. These were my only issues as I sometimes like staying inside and relaxing. “Romora Bay Resort & Marina is a little tired. Our original room was #6 we had to move because the rooms had carpenter ants and was very dirty. It looks like the rooms have not been cleaned in weeks. (Dusty, old dead insects and a smelled very musty and wet) The bed was comfortable and after we moved into room #8 we were happier with the extra space. “Lovely property, very helpful staff. Dining in was a fairly pricey affair. But then again the whole of Abacos is not an easy place to find reasonably priced restaurants. The island has yet to really recover from the terrible hurricane in 2019. The Resort is an oasis of neatness and order compared to much of the island. I do hope Abacos continues to make progress, it is a lovely place and the people are so kind and helpful.”

Dinner options from the executive chef were phenomenal from a fish fry Friday to prime rib Saturday! Nothing beats that! “This property is located in Stevenson. It is a quiet area located about 20 Minutes from George Town. It has 3 different units. The unit we stayed in has a downstairs 2 bdr/2 bath and spacious. “The place was spotless and had all the amenities you could require, including excellent kitchen, plenty of towels and soaps, TVs in every room and beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was accommodating and responsive. The restaurant options in Treasure Cay are limited and fairly basic, so if you are looking for more meal options you will have to drive the 35 minutes to Marsh Harbour. Prestige Car rental offers good cars for less than it costs to rent a golf cart.”
