"Same as other reviews. Dated and some aesthetic problems that come with an ageing property but everything was functioning well and it has fantastic facilities for kids and families. The heated spas and pools are great at this time of year when it gets cooler, and the waterslides are not just for show, they are quite fast. Gym and steam room also very good. "Mandalay is very well maintained, we were there the week after school holidays and it was spotlessly clean, the staff are super friendly (including ground staff). Our cabin (beach cabin 6) was really clean, the provided plates, utensils and kitchen stuff were all good quality and more than adequate to cook a few meals. The kids loved being able to explore the park and find all of the playgrounds and even did some possum spotting inside the park. The pools were clean and the warm pools were a hit...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Paradise! Such a kid friendly resort with so many facilities/activities for the kids. Convenient location, only a short walk down to the main strip of Surfers. Plenty of food options including pizza, mexican and general cafe/pub style food. The staff were all lovely and we had particularly great experiences with Charlene, Adam & Gio who were all amazing with our kids and went above & beyond for us. Highly recommend for a family friendly holiday 😊"

"Beds and dishes were not adequately cleaned not sure if the sheets were actually cleaned before we rented our cabin. Some dishes were not clean. Stayed for 3 nights and only provided with 2 bin bags and 2 dishwashing tablets. No oven which I didn’t realise when booking. Apart from that it was a great weekend away "

"Apartment is a bit dated, and few minor issues like leaking tap, lose tap, and tile floor felt a bit oily. Overall still quite clean though, beds are comfortable, aircon unit pretty solid. Lovely view from the balcony. The best thing is the pool facilities, my son just loved every minute of playing in allt he 3 different pools. Location is quite central, would recommend, esp for young families! Pricing is also reasonable. "
