"We stayed at 10 different hotel/hostels all the way around Iceland and this one was by far the best. Clean rooms, great showers, excellent common areas, and the staff was great. Nikita from Slovenia was the best of the best! Smiling welcome, awesome personality- amazing to talk to! I would go back to Iceland just to stay here and talk with Nikita for hours. Stay here!!!!!!"

"Decent breakfast, check in gal was nice and helpful. Overall decent stay, nothing fancy. The restaurant attached is just ok IMO and the waitress was rude and trying to rush us along. The bartender was nice, hospitable, and helpful. "

"Great little place. Curb appeal From road isn't the best but spotless and updated inside. Had a nice lounge area which was great to relax in after a long day. Breakfast was ok it did the job. Fresh and organized. Location was great to get a late visit or early visit to studlagil canyon. There's also an amazing waterfall down the road"

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good Breakfast. Hot tub in scenic setting. The room with private bath and mountain view. The location was a little bit remote off a dirt road, which was not well maintained, but very scenic drive to get in there. Make sure you arrive in daylight. This was one of our favourite accommodations on our Ring Road tour. Hoped to see the northern lights, but got too good a rest. :)"

"Nice homestead but there was no mention of shared facilities (ie a single toilet & shower) to accommodate the entire house when booking. Other guests decided to fry up some fish late at night and the smell permeated into the bedroom, very unpleasant but guess we cant fault the host for this. Our bedroom was right next to the shared bathroom and soundproofing was limited! Bedding was clean but found a random sock and some other bits which implies a surface clean only between guests. Drinking water was absolutely awful, tasted very metallic and had a brownish tinge to it. Cheaper than other places so guess you get what you pay for - we booked for two nights but moved on after one."
