"This property was small but cozy and romantic and cute. The wood furnishings and view of the volcanoes was so aesthetic. The breakfast was included and delish. The staff was super kind and helpful even though we didn't speak much Spanish they were patient with us. They had hot water and provided towels but no washcloths. The property was immaculate clean and easy to find. There is no safe or microwave or fridge. There is a balcony and a/c. Be careful about eating in the rooms because ants are sure to follow. The only caveat was the bathroom had an odor almost like a sewer or sulfur smell. It might have been from the water since it is in the mountains near the volcanoes. They also had a pool but it's very small and we didn't utilize it. There is a pupuseria about 2 blocks down the hill that makes great pupusas and stays open until 9 pm. The hotel offers a tour for the seven waterfalls but we toured with a local from the town square for cheaper. There was also a food stand across from the Juayua sign in the town center that had great food. The chef and owner spoke English and was super nice. His food was great and he let us try several things."
"The location is phenomenal. I would stay here again just for the beautiful views and spacious rooms with patio. However, there was no hot water in our rooms and when I inquired the staff instructed me to play with the electrical panel breakers in the room closets. The water never heated despite following their instructions. The TVs didn’t work which we wanted to use since everything shuts down at 8pm and you’re trapped on site without comfortable common areas to hang out after dinner. Also, the food in the restaurant is not very good and the service during breakfast the morning we checked out was pretty awful. It took 45mins to get our basic breakfast after ordering even though we were the only ones in the restaurant."
"Los Cuatros Olivos is situated perfectly on the outskirts of Juayua giving quiet and convenience. The property and rooms are clean and well-kept. The staff was tremendously friendly and accommodating."
"The hotel provides a truly beautiful experience. You can completely disconnect from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with nature and your partner. The peaceful surroundings, the sounds of nature, and the overall atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax and recharge.
For those of us with children, however, it can be a little nerve-wracking because there is virtually no cell phone signal. While the opportunity to disconnect is part of the charm, having more reliable Wi-Fi would provide extra peace of mind for parents who may need to stay reachable in case of an emergency.
Overall, it is a wonderful getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy quality time surrounded by nature."
