“A little more variety at breakfast”

“We stayed there a couple of nights we had about 5 different rooms and all of us were highly unsatisfied. First sleep start off by telling you, the room service never went to service the rooms. The rooms had like a mildew smell in them. The toilets didn’t flush unless you tried more than two or three times to. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to work there whatsoever. Almost felt like we were bothering them when we needed something. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food to come out...

“hotel is nice with clean room and comfy beds. there is not much to do at this hotel there is no access to the beach or sea pools which are pictured on the hotel descriptions. food and drinks are expensive on the menu. I did not stay after my checkout time.”

“Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious. Beach is just a short walk away. Cocktails were delicious. Town is a short 5-10 minute walk with many restaurants including two delicious pupusa and taco restaurants.”

“If you want to completely disconnect and have a pleasant experience, this is a great option. I’d say that it’s also a great place for families with children. The food is very flavorful and is cautiously prepared and served. I noticed that every dish was covered with a plastic wrapper, helping avoid mosquitoes or flies, lingering around your food prior to serving. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I could have not picked a better place.”

“Close to the airport, which is great for an early flight, plus they have an airport shuttle for a $10 fee. Will stay again for the proximity to the airport but not longer than one day.”

“The rooms weren’t well equipped and if it rain it might enter inside the room. Also the wifi doesn’t go to the room and the staff serve you in a rude way”

“This property was incredible and surpassed all our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and our room was immaculate. Upon checking in, we were able to be added to a guided tour/hike of the Santa Ana volcano the next day, which we highly recommend. The restaurant had an amazing view and the food was some of the best we had on our entire trip. All the employees were so hospitable and kind. I have nothing but good things to say about Casa 1800!”

“Overall, it was a great experience. Unfortunately, they did warn me ahead of time, but there was heavy construction during our stay, so there was a lot of noise early on. However, the staff and the food were fantastic. The infinity pool overlooking the waves of the Pacific Ocean was also beautiful. Highly recommend this place.”

“People there were very nice and helped us with things around the place. Breakfast was good but after day 1, they wanted to charge for a maracuyá glass drink so ended up having orange choice. The sink was loose(see photo), the shower often over filled when showering. The room’s door, did not seal well at the bottom and would aloud bugs, insects to crawl inside as well as hot air (see photo). Regardless, we enjoyed the pools and various games available by the bar.”

“The breakfast bread is so small that about a 1/4 of it was provided before. The canopy for the shade is so old that it is coming apart, and it makes it seem like a lock of maintenance. My room did not have much furniture, no chairs, no table for guests to visit, and sit down unless it was in the bed. No small refrigerator to keep drinks cool. I got a few bugs, like crickets, cockroaches, and one crab. When the rain came, water came under the door, creating a safety issue. All staff are very...
