“It is an older hotel, beds sag but it is very clean, staff was great and showers hot, it's also the best location I could imagine. My only real complaint would be that smoking is allowed and when there were smokers on my floor the smell was enough to be bothersome. ”

“Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.”

“A very friendly, welcoming hotel, with clean, spacious room. A good location, just between two main thoroughfares. A lot of thunderstorms when I was there, so it was nice having a comfortable, relaxed hotel to wait out the rains. Only five or six blocks from the artisanal market, if you're looking for nice traditional crafts and gifts.”

“The area is unsafe. The property owner gave me room key but not the key for the front gate. So in and out of hotel, I need to ring the doorbell. If he is not in, I can’t get in.”
