"The hotel was conveniently located near the city centre. It was handy to have a parking house in the same building. The room was fine and the beds were comfortable. A few tweaks would be good though: it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea/coffe and the bin in a bathroom was broken and it was odd that the cleaners hadn't spotted it. Breakfast was great and overall it was a great stay. "

"This place has been around in one form or another for many years, and the experience of the staff shines through. A welcoming afternoon tea and a sumtuous breakfast were just two of the standouts. "First of all we really liked the Apartment house. It was very clean and well equiped. The sauna was a big plus for us. The breakfast could definitly offer more choices, especially bread (no bread rolls, only bread) and hot chocolate (wasn't included). Glutenfree breakfast was fine. The communication with the hotel before our stay was really bad. We wanted to book a husky safari and reached out to the hotel a good while before our stay, but we haven't got an answer at all or with about 5 days...

"24h service, warm accomodation with good parking, views and everything you need nearby. Highly recommended. Rent your own car to be more flexible in your adventure. Driving in winter also was not a problem at all. All roads are well maintained with good access to all the highlights around kuusamo and Ruka. Will book again."
