“Very tidy, the room contained everything you need to be self sufficient. Nice and sunny, good shower pressure. Very close to Massey University Albany campus which was the purpose of my stay. ”

“My room was so dark and smelly.. I paid for 2 nights but only stayed for few hours and didn't sleep there at night either.. better to check before you check in if your room is bright and not smelly.”

“Everything was so nice to stay. The facilities in the lodge was very interesting and old enough to feel another world. Host was very kind. One more advantage was The Hunting Lodge Winery was 5 minutes on foot. We had dinner on the winery. We wanna stay again in the future.”

“We booked through Hotels.com well in advance of our visit but on arrival Bryan was not expecting us. Fortunately there was a room available. A nice continental breakfast was left out for us which was cereal, croissant, apple puffs or toast. We had a decent sized room with bathroom and toilet down the corridor. This would have been shared but there were no other residents when we stayed. The bed was very comfortable. Bryan was v. helpful and provided a list of local restaurants and take always.”

“No handy bedside light on one side of bed. Furniture is terribly outdated. Rusty heater on wall. Rusty bedside light. Broken kitchen cupboards. Broken floor skirting board. Only two drinking mugs, both stained. grubby tea-towel. Overall condition of unit very poor and depressing.”

“The house was clean, beds were comfortable. Was only able to watch YouTube chanel. Would have liked information folder on how to access normal tv, fridge ect. Plastic kettle for coffee, leaves unpleasant taste. Was unable use water and ice maker as they appeared not to work”
