Walls are very thin so could hear the people next door snoring all night. There is a sign up in the bath room saying after 5days you get fresh linen and towels but this didnt happen, i stayed for 7nights. “I loved this hotel. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room & bathroom were clean, with good quality shampoo, body wash and hand wash by Dove. The bathroom door did double service as a door that could close off the toilet area, which was a little awkward, but did mean one person could potentially use the toilet while another was cleaning their teeth. “We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Stamford is a beautiful town to explore on foot. We stayed for one night whilst attending a nearby sports event. Would happily stay here again. ”

Great blackout curtains: I didn’t even realize there were streetlights outside my window until I opened the curtains at night. Neutral: Has a physical key, not a keycard, which makes no difference to me. Window opens a little and you can request a fan. Cons: not very clean-looking.
