“I had a mixed experience at the hotel. It's great that I had a positive first impression with excellent service and friendly staff. However, the noise and issues with the veranda window and doors must have been frustrating, especially if they were repaired late at night. The staff were kind and that I enjoyed the breakfast. Overall, it seems like there were both positives and areas for improvement during our stay.”

“가성비에 비해 정말 좋은 곳이다. 여자 혼자 여행이었지만 마사이3명이 24시간을 철저히 지키고 있으니 문을 열어놓고 있어도 된다 하고 해변을 혼자 걷기 무서워하니 경호와 설명을 잘 해주어 좋은 여행을 하였다. 그냥 해변에 있어 어느때고 바다에 들어갈수 있다. 다른곳의 10/1 안되는 가격에 트리플룸을 사용했다.”

“Unfortunately, our two-week stay was quite disappointing, mainly due to the food and poor organisation.
The biggest problem was that there simply wasn’t enough food for all the guests. The menu was very limited at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At first, we thought we were arriving too late, but even when we started coming earlier, there was still not enough food and very little choice. We have stayed at many hotels in Zanzibar, and we have never experienced anything like this before. I find...

“Worst hotel experience in my 75 years!
We booked four rooms at Kendwa Rocks through Expedia: two pool bungalows and two deluxe rooms. My son emailed requesting adjoining rooms and a crib for his one-year-old. The hotel cheerfully confirmed both requests in writing.
After a full day of travel, we arrived to find our reservation not honored. The pool bungalows had been given to other guests, my son’s family had neither adjoining rooms nor a crib, and my wife and I lost our pool bungalow.

“Incredible location, resort, staff and food. I stayed here for 10 nights and it was perfect. The rooms are spacious with a tasteful interior equipped with air conditioning. The villas are situated in a garden with paths, overlooking the ocean on a small cliff. The staff is attentive and eager to provide excellent service. As a solo female traveler I felt very comfortable, safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend!!”

“There is an anoucement (?) local speaker around the hotel. So nosiy even around 5 am.
I could find many insects in the room (floor is wood like old school) and window is not sealed perfectly so flies or other bugs can come through.
No fridge in the room but maybe you can borrow (5$ per day). The room was written as a seaview on the page but barely can see the sea
Toilet is in the room but it is not separated!!! NO DOOR!!! so everyone in the room can hear and smell me very closely. Never...
