"I booked this hotel on a whim after reading the reviews and wanting to pamper myself on my vacation to India. I was traveling there with another friend of mine. "I have visited Kodaikanal many times and stayed at various places but this stay was probably the best experience. Comfortable and clean room. Clean and non-smelly bathroom. Toilet looked new. Excellent buffet breakfast. Excellent play area for children with swings and slide. Parrots, Emu, guinea fowl and ducks, badminton and table tennis, village-styled tea shop were nice added benefits. Easy check-out - no waiting in line - just handed over the room card and left.Cordial smiling staff."

"Beautiful hotel in a jaw-dropping location. Pretty good food (especially if you stick with the Indian selections), although not everything on the menu was actually available. The tradeoff for the absolutely amazing views is that you're way up a really rough road with nothing else around (but I thought it was well worth it, and it was easy to get a rickshaw). Beautiful and well-appointed room. Recommended. :)"

"All the staff were so helpful. No problem changing my room when I had a view straight into a tree... after that blissful view of mountains. Lots of space in the family room (more like a small flat) but furniture is rather sparse and basic. Food was very good and an extensive menu - the kitchen clearly takes pride in what it does. You are high up on a hill — so everything is a tuk-tuk or car ride away. Very quiet and almost nothing happens in the evening. So this is the place if you want peace...
