โMy tv wasnโt working in the room, I called the front desk he said he couldnโt do anything and the owner had left. I asked could he switch my room and he said I would have to wait until the owner returnsโ
โThe front desk Ladies here makes the stay amazing. They are extremely friendly, eager to assist, and assertive in a very professional way. I appreciate them very much for being so kind to me. They ALL deserve a raise, you want to keep Professionals like them around as long as possible!โ
โThe location is a bit further from the beach than I expected, but thats because I didn't realize there are 2 Howard Johnsons in Virginia Beach. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but overall we were pleased. It was clean and comfortable! The staff was friendly and we appreciated the complimentary coffee, juice and breakfast snacks. Given the moderate price, I'd give a thumbs up and would book again. โ
โGreat so close to fishing pier. Though I do wish the beds were a bit softer but Iโm spoiled to my own bed wasnโt awful a couple extra pillows would be nice but it was clean and served my purpose.โ
โWe did not end up staying here as they did not have a pool. It was still listed on Expedia, but the pool had been removed last year. They gave us a refund immediately when we got there and found out the pool was gone. It was a family vacation in the heat of July.โ
โThe room was clean and nice but the outside of the motel was dirty, run down and unsafe in some areas. In the stairs ways the railings were torn down and dirty. โ
