I stayed in many hotels. This one is holding the leading position in dirtiness. Unbelievable how the staff does not see what is going wrong.

Great location - close to golf course, to beach and in a wonderful smaller Scotch town. A wonderful part of the overall visit to Scotland.

Great spot
Friendly staff, lovely room with plenty of light & space. Enjoyed a drink in beer garden before dinner. Lovely breakfast too. What a gorgeous town & comfortable place to stay

Good value with a clean and comfortable room. The food was very good, and the only issue was that our stay was in the last few days of COVID restrictions which affected the atmosphere a little. Would stay again.

Warm Scottish Welxome
Stay here often (whenever in the area) as found all the staff to be very friendly and rooms very comfortable. The public areas are warm and welcoming (especially with the log burning fire and comfy leather couches). Well worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely stay
Staff were very helpful and the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. The fires were lovely to sit in front of.

Have stayed here several times before over the years, as before was very comfortable and friendly helpful staff. The breakfast is superb either smoked haddock amongst its offerings. Will definitely stay again.

Best hotel for golf at Cruden Bay
Hotel was great and staff all brilliantly friendly. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. The food is outstanding too. Don’t eat out!!

A gem
Delightful small inn. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. Enjoyed both the restaurant and the pub. The breakfast waitress was outstanding and started our day off perfectly.

Great place to stay. We were two golfers playing Cruden Bay the next day. Was nice and roomy and close to the course with plenty of parking. Be sure to walk to the castle- very cool!

Lovely flavour of Scotland
Lovely hotel, friendly welcoming staff. With the lovely wood fires and tartan it feels great Food was delicious - both dinner and breakfast. All locally sourced and full of flavour. Will definitely stay here again when I am up this way next time.

It was faultless our friends were allowed to join us for breakfast with us on the Sunday. Had an evening meal fab. The young waiter went to take a photo of Bram Stalkers autograph when he signed the guest book in 1894 he could not work the camera so brought us the guest book from the safe to see and photograph ourselves Lovely place
