“Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean ,fresh and perfect for a short or long stay IMO. A/C worked great and the heat did too. Plenty of hot water. Microwave and small fridge with a freezer kept our freezer packs frozen. We would not hesitate to book again ! A very easy walk to the town center of Bar Harbor and the Island Express Buses to get around the island for FREE. The buses take you into and all over Acadia National Park. Lines can get long..”

“We love the staff at the property!!! Michelle at the front desk made us feel like part of the family. She made sure our every needs were fulfilled and always went out of her way to help us. Dannette is the encyclopedia of the area. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding harbors and we loved all the places off the beaten path she recommended. We normally wouldn’t stay at a motel, but we had a hard time to say goodbye at Anchorage Motel!”

“This is an interesting property, just outside of Bar Harbor. The hotel has a series of separate buildings with 4 units per building. Our room had a great set -up for my family with a bedroom with 2 double beds and a bedroom with a king bed. The breakfast was decent and filling. There’s a path at the back of the property that leads to a carriage road into the park. The staff was helpful throughout our visit. We didn’t take advantage of the events but there were s’mores every evening around a fire...
