“A beautiful old house that is very well kept. The rooms are decorated with antiques that make you feel like you are in a castle. There is a beautiful terrace to eat. The breakfast had homemade yogurt, locally made jams and cheeses from the region. The bed was incredibly comfortable. ”

“No outlets in room to charge your phone. No coffee machine in room. But the decor was lovely and classy. The breakfast was underwhelming no cheese eggs or meat. However the croissants were huge and amazing. The woman who checked me in was kind and accommodating. But the male staff at breakfast was standoffish and not warm or welcoming. The grounds could use some more landscaping befitting of a chateau.”

“Bruno and Marie-Ann are the most convivial hosts. Their home is beautiful and the bedroom and en suite very well appointed and extremely comfortable. The house is steeped in history and is a calm and quiet haven, having been thoroughly restored. Enjoy a delicious, optional, three course dinner. ”

“J'aime bien le village de Saint Satur en bord de Loire. Malheureusement ce choix n'était pas pertinent mi janvier car tous les restaurateurs avaient pris congés. Il eut été plus judicieux de loger à Sancerre afin d'avoir un choix de restaurants ouverts et accessibles à pieds. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très aimable et accueillant.”
