“Tried booking thru Expedia and it was a mess. Ended up double booking me , and charged more than the quoted price. The Ocean House was great. Expedia experience was dreadful.”

“We were expecting this place to be good because of the exceptional rating, but when we arrived and went into the condo we found out that it was beyond our expectation, it was great. It had a gorgeous ocean view, was well prepared, nicely decorated, and was prepared for literally everything. Even the beautiful flowers in the living room I thought artificial, turned out to be fresh cut flowers. The garden outside was so nice and relaxing. Definitely will visit this place again, for a longer stay...

“Our family had a great time staying here. We will definitely stay here again”

“A smoke alarm was chirping in the pool area. I let the front desk know. They fixed it in minutes. It would be nice if they had dirty clothes or shoe bags in the closet for guests. and an extra blanket. Hotel staff ROCKED. I thought they had a free breakfast. I had grandchildren with me. No free breakfast. We ended up going to the hotel restaurant. The service was great with my grandchildren. Everyone was super happy with the food. Grandchildren loved chocolate chip pancakes. View from elevator...

“This is a charming older property that is thoughtfully maintained. From the generous amounts of coffee supplies, toiletries and linens to the host’s timely and helpful communications you feel like a welcomed guest. The view of the ocean from my room and the steps down to the expansive beach make this a place I’d be glad to return to. Restaurants and grocery stores are about 5 miles away so the fridge, Keurig and kitchenette come in handy.”

“spacious & clean room plus beautiful beach”

“This is a lovely little hotel. You can tell it's been in operation for many years but it is very well cared for. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and the desk clerk even recognized us and said hello when we were downtown. This will be our go to spot when we stay in Depoe Bay from now on!”

“Clean facility and friendly staff!”

“I had a pleasant stay here. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, and the views were beautiful.”

“Great.”

“Room was fantastic. But I heard a loud running noise from upstairs, and I could hear it from the next room.”

“It’s a room that has your basic amenities, but it gets you to go outside and see the coast. The view of the ocean was beautiful from the balcony. For a better view, just cross the street, and you have a chance of getting wet from the spray. It was great. No a/c, which you shouldn’t need. There was a ceiling fan that was plenty. Has a fireplace as well as a wall heater. Don’t feed the seagulls. One crumb and they call their cousins. We’re so impressed, we booked another weekend trip in...
