Al Futaisi, Abu Dhabi hotel rooms at the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts

"Amazing hotel, clean, chic, great location and ameneties. Loved our stay the ONLY downfall was the drinks service at breakfast and dinner was always very slow, usually we had finished our meal by the time drinks came, all the staff were polite and went out of their way to help us. Only one staff member let this down by telling us off for falling asleep in the foyer whilst waiting for our room (we had a night flight with two kids so kind of couldn't help it!) and I found that a bit unnecessary but maybe she just wanted something to do. The rooms were spacious, the pool was a great temperature and clean, life guards were checking swim nappies on babies which was reassuring, kids club was well maintained and great staff, food options were fine as we were half board we could mix it up so we didn't get bored, the eggs to order was a great concept and the morning coffees were always a great start to the day! "

Not only were they incredibly well provisioned in amenities, but well integrated such that they were able to coordinate an individualized itinerary for me to experience AD in the short time I had there in the span of an afternoon (planning and coordination started in the early afternoon and was ready by the next morning, after confirming the details the night before). Further, as I’ve come to love about the brand, FS finds ways to make every aspect of the stay easy, enjoyable, and personalized."

"This location is very nice , we as a family like the mandarin oriental locations .. this one was excellent .. It’s far from what we need to do however it’s stunning am the kids loved the pools . Overall magnificent everything .. we had the connecting family suite .. everything was perfect .. over the top great service "
