"We rented 3 rooms for our party of 7 and they were all great. The property is well maintained. The beds were comfortable and clean. The view was incredible. We enjoyed our stay!"

"We had a great stay for three nights. Used it as a our base for exploring the Cabot Trail. The rooms are a little dated, for example the bathroom floors did shift depending where you stand. Rooms were very spacious and the beds were very good. We slept well. It was well air conditioned and clean. We used the laundry facilities to wash and dry our clothes. We only ate at the attached restaurant once for a buffet. It was ok. It's very close to the main area of Baddack, which was very nice and had lots of amenities."

"Very rustic. Nature all around you. Enjoyed the common room with a gent playing instruments and singing for us. Loved seeing the highland cows. Had a cassette player loaded with Celtics music and a juccuzi in our chalet. If you don't care for carbon copy hotels. This is for you."

"Everything was great at this centrally located inn for travel around Cape Breton. We received a tip on check-in from the desk clerk about a 'kitchen party' musical performance just down the street our first evening, and for $20 each it turned out to be a masterful performance from a fiddler-keyboard duo who treated us to two hours of Cape Breton music (plus we were served tea and oatcakes). That tip alone was worth booking at Auberge Gisele! Other than that the rooms, on-site restaurant, and outdoor seating and lounging areas were just great - no complaints. Staff were helpful and courteous. Would book again in an instant - we stayed for four nights and completely worth it!"

"gorgeous property with private beach, games, pool, bonfires on the beach. However the rooms need updating. Small beds, older furnishings. But we would stay here again. Gorgeous little town. Great location. Super friendly staff"
