I wish we could have spent more time at this lodge. It was gorgeous and looked like it had so much to do but it was just a quick stop on our adventure. Rooms were clean and exactly as advertised. Staff was friendly and the breakfast options were good! My sister has celiacs and enjoyed her breakfast options.
The room had a balcony with a panoramic view of the Loch! We sat out there every day/night sipping wine and enjoying the beauty of the Loch and the surrounding hills. A 3 minute drive to the quaint village of Luss and the local shops and restaurant made this hotel the perfect place to stay. The rooms were spacious with easy access to the beach and the restaurant served excellent food! We definitely would stay here again!
There was no apparent cooling in the second bedroom nor the sitting room which made sleeping less comfortable. Our bath had a noticeable scum around the sides and clearly had not been cleaned well enough. For that reason we never used the bath. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast good. Plenty of parking.
Our stay at the Lodge was short. I wished it was longer. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were amazing. We had dinner in the dining room. It was delicious. Service was good. Wine was a bit pricey. Breakfast was included in our stay. We had choices of continental or hot menu.
Before and after our stay I messaged the hotel and they were prompt in answering my questions.
Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer: Great breakfast and a large room with comfortable bed, big bathtub/ shower with separate toilet. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
We stayed at the Lodge on Loch Lomond on a Sunday night. The family rooms are spacious and practical, no complaints there. Before arrival, the hotel emailed to say the restaurant was "extremely popular" and recommended booking in advance, so we did. That was a mistake.
The service was poor from start to finish, slow and inattentive, far below what you'd expect from a hotel of this standing.
As for the food, my linguine was a heavy, shapeless mix of scrambled-looking egg, crab, prawns and diced cured meat, smothered over an oversized pile of pasta, with a handful of rocket thrown on top. Quantity clearly took priority over quality: no balance, no finesse, and the seafood was lost in the mess. At around £30 for this dish, it felt like a rip-off.
If you're staying at the hotel, by all means enjoy the rooms and the loch views, but I would strongly recommend eating elsewhere.
We only stayed 1 night and would’ve loved to stay longer. Great hotel and helpful, courteous staff. Food was great. Beautiful views of Loch Lomond from our room. Peaceful area with great amenities. Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed the stay clean room breakfast was very good. Staff were insistent on a timeslot for it but the food flies out the kitchen in no time. Signage for the second building isnt clear on the outside of it only shows it has room 40 something and not the rest of the rooms. Will definitely be back though
Superb location with breathtaking views.
Excellent rooms.
Breakfast was delicious.
But the crown in their jewel was the staff, professional, curtious and attentive. I cannot recommend this stay highly enough.
Friendly welcome. Staff smiling. Great location and we had a wonderful stay

Very comfortable hotel, with rooms facing the Loch, and watching the sunrise from the room is pretty special. The village of Luss is also a great attraction and really friendly with hiking trails and great dining options.
