“Worst place I ever stayed ”

“Exactly as described and in a great location. My room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I didn’t make use of the communal areas but they were all really clean and quiet. Saw lots of reviews about external noise, but I didn’t hear any at all (Sunday to Wednesday)”

“Loved this guest house, as needed somewhere for one night before leaving Portugal. We had a geound floor room, and the beach view was higher than our level, but you can see the sea when standing. Lovely to hear the waves, and i was concerned it was under the flight path but very little plane noise too. There was a party on the roof that night so we couldnt use, but there are so many other bars and restaurants on the strip it didnt matter, and everyone had packed up and gone by 9.30. Would...

“This property is located in walking distance from Faro’s good restaurants and water shore. UBER is available to airport. As an older adult 82- I would have liked more info on arranging how to get out, where restaurants were…Just someone to talk to on site. But the place is nice n sunny.”

“Beautiful, serene location. Views are incredible, pool was wonderful and we ate dinner at the hotel. One of the best tasting foods of our entire 2 week stay in Portugal/Lisbon. Feels like home.”

“The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. ”
