“The Daffodil Hotel is a really decent hotel, we came for our little honeymoon. Room was very clean, reception staff very welcoming and the beds are comfortable. We loved the view from our window of the lake and hills. Gorgeous location!
Only issues was we had no fridge in our room, not having somewhere cold to store our 'bottled gifts' we brought from our wedding was disappointing. Also the reception lounge bar was closed constantly, its a shame as we fancied a nice cocktail and snack to...

“Fantastic hotel. Very clean and welcoming. Superb staff super breakfast superb location what more can you say. Room was tremendous we really enjoyed ourselves. It was a proper break in wonderful surroundings. I do recommend and will definitely return.”

“The room was in some what of a good condition apart from the pervious persons rubbish under the bed and the cobwebs above the bed limited heating with no control of it found ourselves rather cold throughout our time in the room. ”

“Lovely hotel and staff, pool very nice.
Room disappointing.
Building works going on throughout the hotel which wasn’t made clear at booking.
We were in a ‘family room’ which was essentially a meeting room converted on the ground floor. The only radiator in such a large room was around half a meter from my head when in bed, the chosen location very uncomfortable and I therefore did not sleep well at all.
Shower tray flooded easily which was annoying.

“Really nice caravan on a lovely site with pool. We really enjoyed our stay, the caravan is very well stocked with everything you need for a weekend away, very thoughtfully done. Very clean and communication excellent. Would definitely recommend. ”

“What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want
If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark”
