Absolutely lovely place with fantastic room. Attention to detail is superb. Breakfast is 10/10. Cant fault it. Plus there are llamas in the gardens. Would highly recommend. 👍

The Mill At Glynhir

What a fantastic weekend stay at The Mill at Glynhir. Our hosts Matt and Helen were so hospitable nothing was too much trouble. Though we were only there for 2 nights we felt like we had known them for years! Their attention to detail was spot on. From the miniature toiletries/dental kits etc Through to the chocolate goodie Jar. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be going back.!

West Wales wonder

We are in our 60's, well travelled, and I'm telling you this is the best B & B we've ever stayed at. Very friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Our room had everything with thoughtful amenities (including a cookie jar !) with a large spacious bed. Plus a v good golf course 'next door'.

What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.

An amazing hidden gem.

This is an amazing hidden gem. A delightful place to stay. Immaculate, clean, everything you need in a room and more! (A fridge with fresh milk & snack jar were a treat) Great hosts. Very welcoming & friendly. Couldn’t do enough. Beautiful location. Highly recommend.

A Real Treat and fabulous stay.

We had a great stay at the Mill… so quiet and peaceful and in a stunning location. Helen and Matt were terrific hosts ensuring our stay was perfect. Our room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. A fridge with fresh milk and an incredibly generous Biscuit jar (apologies for over indulging! 😂) was certainly a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful which we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend this lovely place and we hope to return. Graham and Kay.

Delightful stay.

'The Mill" offers the room standards of a high class hotel as great effort has been to anticipate the guests needs. Where else would you find a jar filled with mini chocolate bars to enjoy whilst watching Netflix! Breakfast didn't disappoint either with plenty of choice including vegetarian options. In a nutshell if you are wanting to experience a rural stay away from the stress of everyday life with warm welcoming hosts this is the place for you.

Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill at Glynhir.

Absolutely Wonderful

Couldn’t recommend it more highly, Matthew and Helen were lovely, really helpful and the location is wonderful. We had a lovely balcony with beautiful views and the room was faultless, spotlessly clean and they had thought of everything and added lots of extras which were very much appreciated. Having a fridge with fresh milk for your cuppa was also very much appreciated along with the water they provide. The naughty jar of treats and snacks was also very tempting along the really lovely breakfast they lovingly cook. Thank you Helen and Matthew x

We had a wonderful stay at The Mill at Glynhir. The location is stunningly beautiful and so peaceful. Matt and Helen were superb hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, their attention to detail is second to none as everything you need is provided. Breakfast was first class, with delicious local produce, and the amenities were exceptional. A perfect countryside retreat that we would highly recommend! We had only booked a 2 night stay but loved the Mill so much we asked for an extra night and were delighted that they able to accommodate us.
