Not bad for a night
1인실 써서 화장실과 샤워실이 공용이였다. 방 안에 세면대도 있어서 간단히 씻을 수 는 있다. 화장실이 더러웠다 . 바로 앞 사람이 더럽게 쓴 것 같긴 하지만 그래도. 위치는 괜찮다. 교통권 끊고 다니긴 했지만 어디든 10-15분이면 갈 수 있는 곳이다. 계단 가파르다. 술취해선 오르내리기 힘들지도 모른다. 방은 더러운 지는 확인 불가한 검정색이지만 이부자리에서 냄새는 안났다. 난방 라디에이터 올리면 따뜻하다. 시끄럽다고 하는데 잘 자서 그건 모르겠고 레코드 플레이어와 블루투스 스피커는 빌릴 수 있다고 한다. 화장실 샤워실 전용으로 있는 2인실이라면 그래도 괜찮지 않았을까 싶다.

I didn’t like that there is no elevator and the shared toilet and bath. I did’t like the noise around the area. Lighting in the rooms are not satisfactory.

The staff was very gracious and kind. The room was large. The beds were comfortable. We slept with the windows open and could not believe how quiet the area is. The only con is the stairs are straight up as if you were going on a ladder. I would choose hotel again for the walk ability, safety and comfort…if I had a lower floor room.

Loved the staff at Backstage! They were wonderful in giving recommendations and helping us with airport transportation. The area was trendy, young and lively, with lots of restaurant and bar options in walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Wir haben als Familie (Eltern Kinder 9 5) ein Vierbettzimmer gebucht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer inkl. Badezimmer sehr sauber. Einzig die Hellhörigkeit hat mich ein wenig gestört. Es handelt sich um ein älteres Haus in sehr guter Lage in der Nähe des Rijksmuseums. Auch der Dam im Zentrum ist gut in ca 20 Min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Eine Straßenbahn haben wir nicht nutzen müssen.

can't argue much with price and location. Plus, the (back-)stage themed interior is pretty cool. How does a snare drum as ceiling light in the room sound?

Een topaccomodatie als je bijvoorbeeld bij de Melkweg moet zijn. Met 5 minuutjes ben je weer terug op je kamer. Verder ligt het in de buurt bij veel winkels en eetgelegenheid en is het over het algemeen heel gezellig in de buurt. Het enige nadeel - maar uiteraard is het wel kloppend wat de prijs betreft - is dat het vrij gehorig is en dat je de kamer uit moet om te douchen / het toilet te gebruiken. Verder zou ik hier zeker nog eens boeken

Hotel tres correct. Personnel tres accueillant et sympathique. La chambre est plutot confortable. Mais: odeur de tabac dans la salle de bain et un peu bruyant sous un couloir aerien. Mais l accessibilité vers le centre et le prix raisonnable pour amsterdam compense ces desagrements.

Great time overall. Very kitch design that worked well. Stayed in the basement - make sure you keep the window open, that's the only ventilation. Great breakfast, nice atmosphere. Great service and staff are highly attendant to needs. Shower is good, toilets are clean. Easy access after hours with key fob.

Don't be taken aback by the entrance which is a dark and narrow entrance to a pub. The rooms are clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. When you make the reservation please be aware that they do have rooms that are sharing bathrooms. It was a big surprise to us but we survive because the bathrooms are very clean.

Cute hotel with great character in a wonderful location - close to restaurants & the canal cruises. The staff were friendly & helpful. Walking distance to many different squares/areas. A few things to be mindful of: no elevator & there are 4 floors. Tiny winding staircase makes it difficult to carry your luggage up. The staff will offer to do it & I would recommend you let them. No air conditioning. Normally not an issue, but we were there in a "heat dome" so it was 30 degrees every day. We were on the 4th floor & it was very hot in our room. They did supply a floor fan which my husband put on the top ledge outside of the room's window to suck the air in. It finally cooled down at around 2 a.m. The safe in our room didn't work. The light in the bathroom was "motion" activated so wouldn't stay on when you were on the toilet or in the shower. We lived with these inconveniences because we liked the location & price & room size. If you are older you should consider staying somewhere with air conditioning & easier stairs (maybe an elevator). Apparently not many hotels in Amsterdam have air conditioning because it never gets that hot. Overall it was a good hotel & they do offer breakfast at a decent price.

The staff was amqzing. So helpful and kind they just seem genuinely happy to be there helping people and obviously love their jobs. Its a great place to stay, it must also be a great place to work.

The part we did not like, is that the bath and toilet are outside of the bedroom, shared with other guests in differerent bedrooms. But the price was not too bad either. But I prefer to pay a little more for the privacy. I accept for a one time stay, as "an adventure"

Yaşanmış hayatlar ama Genç işi otel.
Otelin konumu çok iyi. Her yere yürüyerek ulaşabilirsiniz. Bizim kaldığımız oda yolun altında ve tuvalet banyo ortaktı. Odalar sokağa baktığı için özellikle cuma akşamı sabaha kadar gürültülüydü Merdivenler çok dik ve sıkıntılıydı fakat bu otel zaten size bunları vaad etmiyor. Ucuz ama temizdi. Sahipleri (herhalde) tam rock/jazz karışımı bizim nesil adamlar. Hiç bir şeyi kafaya takmadık onlarda öyle.

We made a mistake by booking a room with shared bathroom. The reception tried it's best to accommodate our needs and was quite helpful. Nice room and close to nightlife spots

Bom hotel na área turística de Amsterdam.
O hotel é confortável e bem localizado, o quarto em que ficamos era grande e limpo, banheiro limpo. Atendimento simpático e check in / check out muito rápido. O única questão que eu recomendaria para futuros hóspedes avaliarem é a falta de elevador e escada caracol bem estreita. Ficamos no 4° andar do hotel, com 2 malas de 20kg e outras 3 com 15kg e foi complicado subir e descer com elas. Se você tem apenas uma mochila e mala pequena, sem problemas, mas com malas grandes vale a pena avaliar esta questão.

The location was good, easy to arrive by bus from the airport.The room on the basement floor was stuffy and noisy. The city is lively and its sounds carried into the rooms.Shared shower and toilet facilities are an experience in themselves.
