I was on a business trip at the Anaheim Convention Center. I stayed here and at the Capri Suites and found Carriage Inn to be a more quiet and comfortable stay. The rooms were also more comfortable, particularly the bathroom. If I had a choice, I would stay at the Carriage Inn over Capri Suites. My only issue would be the use of single use toilettries, versus refillable options. I hope Carriage Inn improves on that in the future. I would not expect a lot from the breakfast, but they did have hardboiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc. There are several nearby restaurants within walking distance.

Check-in was easy and fast. Front staff explained about parking and the elevator since we were on the 3rd floor. They also explained that the room next to the check-in was where the light breakfast would be. Let me just say that when they say “light” they really mean light. Breakfast Menu: toast, croissants, yogurt, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, plain bagel, Coffee and OJ. The room set up was small and your literally dancing around each other to get to the toaster. The room was clean, but no shampoo or conditioner as other hotels around have it complementary in the shower. Price wise i rather stay next door at motel 6 or across the street at magnolia because the breakfast is not worth the up charge.

The manager was very kind, and young front desk person so helpful. There were some issues with another worker who continued to threaten my kid adults they would have to pay first towels if stolen or damaged. Additionally, housekeeping stands in the food area for breakfast and supervises that you do not leave with any food. Just a strange experience. We were booked a week or would have left, otherwise it was clean and quiet.
